Journal of a perfect Christmas Evening

On 1st of December we had our first 2013 "Who killed Santa" Murder Mystery Dinner.

A lighten tree, a flickering fireplace, a festive menu, 40 guests and an amusing team of actors made the evening perfect.

On top of that, we had a karaoke station and we strongly believe we found the next X Factor Star.

Bake Sale for Children In Need at Argyll Hotel

Today, 16th of November, The Argyll Hotel is holding a Bake Sale for Children In Need.


Members of our staff baked cupcakes, cakes and biscuits to support Children In Need.

After 4 days at Argyll Hotel, the Florian Singers (Germany) had the pleasure to dedicate us a lovely tune.
It was 8 a clock in the morning and all the guest were looking on the windows and taking photos.
Nice way to wake us up.

Russian Karate Champions at Argyll Hotel

 Four karate champions and their coaches stayed with us for the British Open Karate Championships (October 2012, Glasgow). They left with 9 medals and our respect.

Murder Mystery Melody

Argyll Hotel presents an evening of intrigue, comedy and a good old sing song. This is a murder mystery with a difference where the show also includes an array of well known songs. Be part of the investigation as our singing characters belt out the old favourites. You can join in as much as you wish so that if you want to solve the clues you can, but if you just want to sit back, sing along and have a good time then that is fine too (we do provide song sheets). We include a sequence of scripted scenes that are performed throughout the event, usually right in the middle of the audience(yes,you could be standing next to an argument or a song or even a fight when it breaks out!). Carefully constructed clues are provided and the actors are briefed with a comprehensive array of information so that they can be reliably interrogated by the audience. Information can be obtained from the actors, from the clues and from the scenes; the more you dig,the more you find out.
