The countdown to Christmas starts here as George Square comes alive with light and Winterfest Glasgow 2008 gets off to an illuminating start with the switching on of Glasgow's famous Christmas Lights.Mingle with Jack Frost and the Snow Queen, enjoy upbeat music and fun with Robin and Cat from Real Radio, before counting down to the big switch-on and magical fireworks display from the roof of the famous City Chambers.
