Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrates the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth with a year-long programme of events across the country. We’re also celebrating some of Scotland’s great contributions to the world: golf, whisky, great minds and innovations and Scotland’s rich culture and heritage.

If not, Scotland enjoys excellent links with all the major European hubs which provide a plentiful supply of onward connections. And if you are travelling from Ireland, Scandinavia or the Low Countries, you also have the option of travelling by ferry to ports in Scotland or the north of England, a short drive from the border.
