The Gathering 2009 - Come Home to Scotland
On the 25th and 26th July 2009 Edinburgh will witness one of the largest clan gatherings in history, bringing people together from all parts of the world.
If Edinburgh is the historic capital of Scotland, then Glasgow is the modern and cosmopolitan capital of Scotland. Glasgow is renowned for its culture and fantastic nightlife and travelling between cities is very easy indeed. There are express trains running between Glasgow and Edinburgh at least every 15 minutes. The train journey takes about 45 minutes.
