Flybe to boost capacity on Cardiff to Glasgow flights
Flybe has announced plans to increase capacity on its flights from Glasgow Airport to Cardiff this year.The regional airline said that it will seek to boost its operations on the route in order to "fill the void" that will follow the suspension of services by bmibaby on March 29th.Higher capacity between Glasgow and Cardiff will also reinforce Flybe's commitment to providing "convenient, affordable travel between the two destinations", the airline claimed.Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer of Flybe, announced that a sale was being launched offering reductions of up to 50 per cent on flights between April 1st and June 30th.He added: "We look forward to welcoming our new customers on this important route and again reaffirm our determination to serving the people of Wales and to becoming Cardiff's number one airline."Flybe operates flights to locations in the UK including Aberdeen, Belfast and Southampton, as well as European destinations such as Alicante, Paris and Salzburg.
